You see this type of material on low sloped roofs. You may also see it on utility buildings such as garages, sheds and workshops. Unlike the other products mentioned, rolled roofing comes in large rolls that are approximately 3 feet wide and 100 square feet in length. While this is typically the least expensive option, it also only lasts about ten years or so. There are different ways to apply it. One way is using nails and roofing tar. Another option is to fasten it with a torch-down method.
