Android phones are often seen as being the cheaper phones on the market (compared to Apple phones), but they work just as well. No matter what type of android phone you have, they all use the same type of charger, as all android phones (and even tablets) have the same size charging port. Below are some of the must-have accessories for anyone who has an android phone and charger.
USB Wall Adaptor
For the most part, an android charger will usually come with a USB wall adaptor. If your charger did not come with one, it’s best to get one as soon as possible. If you do not have a wall adaptor, you need to plug your charger into a USB port to make it work. These ports can be found easily enough on many computers, tablets, smart TVs, and some gaming consoles. However, these devices need to be turned on to be able to charge your phone.
Having a USB wall adaptor solves any problems that come from not having one. With a wall adaptor, you simply plug the USB end of the charger into the adaptor and plug the adaptor into the wall. This way, you don’t need to have another device in use to charge your phone.
Charging Pad
Sometimes, a charging port can get messed up. One way to still charge your phone without needing to totally replace it is to get an android charging pad. To use these charging pads, all you need to do is plug in the pad and place your phone on top of this. While this may seem like some kind of witchcraft, it actually works because of the general shape and placement of the android battery within your phone.
Wireless Charger
The name “wireless charger” is a bit of a misnomer. Wireless chargers do have a wire, but the wire doesn’t into the phone. Instead, the charger is plugged into the wall (with a wire). The wire then connects to a charging base, which is usually some kind of circular stand. The phone then plugs into a small charging port on the stand. It’s a pretty convenient way to charge your phone without having to fumble with a wire every time you want to plug in your phone.
