The Selection Process

Step 1: The Admit Card
Once KEA confirms the eligibility of the candidates, it will issue the admit card. The admit card is available on the official website, and candidates can download the same by logging in by entering their registration number and birth date as password.
Note that you won’t be allowed to write the exam if you don’t take the admit card to the examination centre. The admit card or hall ticket details include the candidate’s name, date of birth, exam date, and centre.
Step 2: The Answer Key
KEA publishes the answer key on its official website. Candidates can download the same and compare it to their answers to estimate their scores, marks in each subject, and ranks.
Step 3: Result
Just as the KEA publishes the answer key on its official website, it also hosts the same portal results. You can check their scores by logging into the website by entering their credentials. You should know that the body publishes the results only on its official website.
In addition to the candidates’ scores and their marks and rank, the result sheet also consists of other information such as their name and registration number.
Step 4: Counselling
Once a candidate has qualified in the exam, they must go through the counselling and seat allotment process to get admitted to the course and college. The counselling process comprises different stages, including registration, selection, seat allotment, and fee payment.
Counselling is the last step in the selection process where the candidates will secure admission into a college and course of their preference and attend classes.
