You want to find a wall or space where the bed can be fully folded up and secured to the wall so that it stays out of the way. You also need to make sure that you are going to have a strong wall to secure the bed to.

The wall needs to have studs so that the bed can be secured to the studs of the wall rather than just to drywall. You want to use studs to secure the bed so that it does not fall down and does not damage the wall.
