Use of Bio Plastic
Bio plastics are controversial with regard to their disposal. Biodegradable plastics also end up in the ovens in waste incineration plants. This happens for the simple reason that the conversion of the substances in the course of technical composting does not necessarily take place to the desired extent. This is where “biodegradable” materials differ from “compostable” materials, which have a specified time frame for decay.
