Why is RoHS Important Today?

RoHS is the abbreviation of Reduction of Hazardous Substances. This is a piece of legislation which is created by the European Union to put control on the use of dangerous products in consumer goods. This is created in the interest of saving both humans and the environment.

The beginning of RoHS

This legislation has its roots dating back to 2003. This has the major goal of helping the environment from getting affected by the use of hazardous substances through electronic and electric product manufacturing. So having tight regulations like RoHS in place can keep things under control.
